Alpha kyltermostater har en lättanvänd kontrollpanel med tre funktionsknappar och en stor, tydlig LED-display som gör det enkelt att navigera genom menyn. Passar för användning med icke brandfarliga vätskor (vatten, vatten/glykol). Kan användas för såväl intern som extern termostatering. Temperaturstabilitet ±0,05 K ger exakt uppvärmning och nedkylning som passar för många olika applikationer. Det automatiska kylsystemet gör kylning möjligt över hela temperaturområdet från −25 till +100 °C. Alla kyltermostater har ett kompressorsystem som kan slås av och på efter behov för att spara energi och ge mindre slitage så att kompressorn håller längre.
