These Masticator laboratory blenders include two paddles which gently homogenise samples for microbiological testing. The blenders can be used with foodstuffs and drugs. The paddles provide pulsed movements to the contents of the sterile sample bag, efficiently homogenising the sample with the diluent. After a short period of time a solution, including all microorganisms to be analysed, is produced without any heat generation. The 'Panoramic' version features a glass door to view progress while the unit is in operation.

The Smart Dilutor W automates and facilitates the precise gravimetric dilution of samples, that is a key process stage in microbiology laboratories.The system incorporates a peristaltic pump linked with a load cell to rapidly and accurately dilute the sample to a preset dilution factor. The sample bag, typically a pre-sterilised 400 ml blender bag is attached to a bag holder which effectively serves as the weighing platform, making the process simple to operate, disassemble and clean.

The PolyStainer is used for staining sample material on slides. Usual staining methods include gram staining or May Grünwald staining. However, any other staining methods can be used in the 10 program slots available. Up to 20 slides can be processed as a set in a maximum of four staining solutions. The tanks for the staining solutions are interchangeable and are supplied with a cover. One reservoir has a volume of 450 ml. The periods of time during which the samples are to remain moving or resting in the staining solution, as well as the drip time over the tank, are freely programmable. The integrated water bath is used to rinse the samples. The rinsing time, and when fresh water is to be added, can also be programmed. The slides are dried in a hot air chamber located next to the water bath.
