Anti-CLIP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
CLIP (class II-associated invariant chain peptide) is an important peptide in the MHC-II antigen processing pathway, formed by the enzymatic cleavage of amino acids 81-104 from the invariant chain. During MHC-II synthesis in the ER and transport to endocytic vesicles, the antigen binding site of MHC-II is obstructed by the presence of the invariant chain. As the MHC-II complex moves through the Golgi, the invariant chain is degraded, leaving the CLIP fragment in the MHC-II peptide binding groove. CLIP is eventually displaced by the loading of antigenic peptides, followed by presentation on the APC cell surface to CD4+ T-cells.

Anti-APMAP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Adipose tissue is the source for a variety of bioactive molecules that regulate metabolism and immunity termed adipokines, most of which are elevated in the circulation of obese individuals. Adiponectin functions as an insulin sensitizing factor, resulting in reduced hepatic glucose production, increased glucose uptake in the muscle, and increased fatty acid oxidation in the liver and muscle. In contrast to most adipokines, adiponectin is detected at high levels in normal human plasma, but is often reduced in obese subjects and in those with increased insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Due to its suggested protective role in insulin resistance, adiponectin may be a useful pharmacological target for various metabolic diseases.

Anti-BAD Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 5E6]
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Bad is an ~22 kDa pro-apoptotic protein that aids in the initiation of cell death. It exhibits sequence homology to Bcl-2, a protein that prevents apoptosis, within its BH1 and BH2 domains. Bad is phosphorylated at several sites including Ser112, Ser136; phosphorylation by kinases like Akt is known to alter the effects of Bad. Bad has been demonstrated to be phosphorylated at Ser170.

Anti-Insulin Receptor Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 10C3]
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
The Insulin Receptor (InsR) is a heterodimeric receptor tyrosine kinase with an extracellular alpha-chain, a transmembrane domain and an intracellular beta-chain. InsR is activated upon binding of the peptide hormone insulin, leading to autophosphorylation of tyrosine residues 1146, 1150, and 1151 in the activation loop of the beta-chain. Additional autophosphorylation sites such as tyrosine residues 960, 972, 1316, and 1322 regulate the assembly of signal transduction complexes.

Anti-SHC1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 11F6]
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
The Src homology 2 domain containing (Shc) adaptor protein links growth factor, cytokine, and antigen receptor stimulation to the Ras signaling pathway, and plays a critical role in insulin signaling, tumorigenesis, and hematopoietic cell growth and differentiation. Structurally, Shc is composed of an N-terminal phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) domain, a medial CH1 domain, and a C-terminal SH2 domain. Upon binding to activate cell-surface receptors, Shc is phosphorylated at three tyrosine residues (Tyr239, Tyr240, Tyr317) triggering recognition of Shc by SH2-containing proteins such as Grb2.

Anti-Nitrotyrosine Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
The enzymatic conversion of arginine to citrulline by nitric oxide synthase (NO Synthase) leads to the formation of nitric oxide (NO). Peroxynitrite is formed following reaction of NO with superoxide, producing a potent oxidant that reacts with a variety of biological molecules, including tyrosine residues in proteins. Tyrosine nitration can inactivate enzymes and receptors that depend on tyrosine residues for their activity. Nitration prevents phosphorylation of tyrosine residues important for signal transduction.

Anti-CCND1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Cyclins are a family of proteins which function as the regulatory subunits of cyclin/cyclin-dependent kinase (Cdk) holoenzymes, mediating entry into and progression through the cell cycle. Each cyclin is expressed in a temporal fashion during the cell cycle, partnering with a specific Cdk to activate its protein kinase activity. The most well defined mitotic cyclins are: cyclin D, which partners with cdks 4 and 6 during early G1 phase; cyclin E, which activates Cdk2 in the G1 to S phase transition; cyclin A, which utilizes Cdks 1 and 2 during progression through S phase and into G2; and cyclin B, which activates Cdk1 in M-phase promotion.

Anti-LTC4 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 6E7]
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Leukotrienes are metabolic products of arachidonic acid formed by the action of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO), with the principal products being leukotrienes C4 (LTC4) and B4 (LTB4). Leukotriene B4 (LTB4) stimulates leukocyte functions including lysosomal enzyme release, adhesion, and aggregation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes. LTB4 has been implicated as a potent mediator of inflammatory diseases and immunoregulation. The cysteinyl leukotrienes (LTC4, LTD4, and LTE4) are formed by addition of cysteine derivatives to LTA4. The conversion of LTA4 to LTC4 by the enzyme LTC4 synthase limits the rate of cysteinyl leukotriene formation. Cysteinyl leukotrienes are potent lipid mediators in inflammation, inducing smooth muscle contractions and increased capillary permeability.

Fluor-de-Lys® Developer II concentrate
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
FLUOR DE LYS® Developer II is an essential reagent for signal generation in assays done with the FLUOR DE LYS®-HDAC8, FLUOR DE LYS®-SIRT1 and FLUOR DE LYS®-SIRT2 substrates. Deacetylation of the FLUOR DE LYS® substrate sensitises it so that, in a second step, treatment with the FLUOR DE LYS® Developer II produces a fluorophore. Typically, an ‘inhibitor stop’ will be included in the 1X Developer dilution (e.g. nicotinamide for sirtuins).

Anti-BAFFR Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
BAFF, or B-cell Activating Factor, is a member of the TNF superfamily also known as BLyS (B Lymphocyte Stimulator), TALL-1 (TNF- and ApoLrelated Leukocyte-expressed Ligand), and THANK (TNF Homologue that Activate Apoptosis, NF-κB and c-jun N-terminal Kinase). BAFF/BLyS was characterized as a B-cell activator since it induced B-cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion. Three receptors for BAFF were identified and designated TACI, BCMA, and BAFF-R. BAFF and its receptors are essential for B-cell development, survival, and humoral immune responses.
