ADS400 Series Saccharimeters are specifically designed to meet the requirements of users wishing to measure optical rotation of sucrose solutions within the sugar processing industry.

A choice of instrument type facilitates a multitude of configurations, the main differentiators being wavelength (traditional sodium yellow 589 nm or near infrared at 850 nm for dark clarified juices), sample input type (Saccharimeter with standard tube or funnel flow for rapid through-put), tube length (100 or 200 mm).

All instruments have the ability to display 'POL' (I.S.S. in °Z) or Purity (%) in accordance with international standards, where the additional Brix reading required may be input via the keypad or from a directly connected RFM refractometer to form an automatic Purity system for the sugar industry.
