About this item
To measure the 'spot concentrations' of ammonia including determination of concentration peaks, personal exposure in the inhalation area, detection of leaks in pipelines or gas installations, air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces. For use with an Accuro® pump. Other basic substances such as organic amines are indicated as well. For Ammonia 2/a, 5/a, 5b, the indication is not affected by :
- 300 ppm nitrous fumes
- 2000 ppm sulfur dioxide
- 2000 ppm hydrogen sulfide
One stroke is equivalent to a volume of 100 ±5 ml of gas passing through the tube.
Operating conditions: 10 to 50 °C ; Up to 20 mg/L H₂O ; Ammonia 0,5 %/a 10 to 30 °C ; 3 to 12 mg/L H₂O absolute humidity.
(*) Desorption stroke in clean air.
