Quality and position of the behr infrared heater guarantee the user identical heating phases and digestion temperatures in all sample positions. This also applies to the double-row arrangement for racks of 12 samples. The glass digestion vessels are suspended in the rack and are not deposited at the bottom of the digestion unit. Therefore, the digestion units are less susceptible to breakage than in an aluminium heating block.

This makes the behrotest® InKjel the ideal digestion system for nitrogen determination according to Kjeldahl and other high temperature digestions. In Kjeldahl digestions, the temperature is adjusted through the boiling point of sulphuric acid.
