Vikter

En vikt är ett föremål med viss, noggrant uppmätt, mängd materia, massa som används i alla miljöer. Noggrant kalibrerade vikter används främst vid vägning med balansvågar och vid kontroll av vågar. Vikterna är speciellt konstruerade för att uppfylla internationella standarder. Individuella modeller eller kits består av hållbara metaller för att klara av rutinanvändningar och kemikalier (lösningsmedel).
