Kranar med en kulventil styr flödet av vätskor och lågtrycksgaser i levererande system. De kan monteras genom normal- slippningar (NS hylsa-, kärnakopplingar) eller skruvgänga. Några levereras med slangkopplingar. Ihåliga krankikar kommer oftas med olika storlekar på borrhål.
