Flaskförslutningar möjliggör säker överföring av flytande medier genom att burkar eller rullarflaskor försluts tätt. Olika foder ger ytterligare lösningsmedelsresistens, medan genomsläppliga typer effektivt filtrerar under gasutbyte och mediesteryliseringsprocedurer. Prover skyddas även under krävande förhållanden som frysstorkning (lyofilisering) eller autoklavering med värmetåliga lock. Kompressionslock för mikroskala-reaktionskärl möjliggör stabila observationer. Engångs- och återanvändbara gänglock erbjuds i många färger, med eller utan septa.
