Filtertrattar
Tungt filtreringstrattar hjälper till att samla upp fasta ämnen som finns i vätskor. Vätskan sugs med vakuum genom sintrade skivor eller perforerade plattor och rinner ut genom långa, vinklade pipar. Vanliga modeller såsom Hirsh eller Büchner med räfflor förhindrar luftlås och påskyndar processen. Den kemiska och termiska resistansen gör att dessa trattar klarar aggressiva material och upprepad sterilisering. Modellerna varierar i kapacitet, porositet och storlek på kompatibla filterpapper.
