Cellspreaders används för att smidigt och jämnt sprida odlingsmedier i petriskålar eller plattor. Alla spreaders är konstruerade för att ge den mest optimala fördelningen och därmed de bästa förutsättningarna för bakterietillväxttester. Välj mellan tre kantlösa modeller: L-form, T-form eller triangulära stavar. Den uppåtböjda spetsen på en L-formad spreader förhindrar specifikt att agarn spricker. Cellspreaders tillverkas i olika material. Stavbredder och handtagslängder varierar för att passa provstorlekens behov.
