Tvättbuffertar
Elektroforesbuffertar upprätthåller ett stabilt pH-värde under separation av DNA, RNA och andra proteiner. De tillhandahåller joner som leder strömmen, och låg laddning gör att molekyler av olika storlek kan färdas i olika hastigheter vid analys. För att skydda proteiner ytterligare innehåller bufferten ämnen som förhindrar nedbrytning, vilket säkerställer provets stabilitet och noggranna testresultat. Buffertar finns i olika molekylvikter och kan väljas utifrån vilka makromolekyler som hanteras.
