Kloningsbuffertar
Inom molekylärbiologi används kloningsbuffertlösningar som innehåller TRIS, ättiksyra, EDTA eller andra ämnen i agaroselektrofores, vanligtvis för att separera nukleinsyror såsom DNA och RNA. Olika buffertformuleringar finns med olika basingredienser. Dessa blandningar har varierande buffertkapacitet och körtider. Buffertlösningar skyddar prover från pH-förändringar under ett brett spektrum av kemiska tillämpningar.
