Spiralspridare

Spiralplattläggare används för att applicera ett flytande prov på en Petriskål i ett spiralformat mönster. Detta ingår ofta i en CFU-räkningsprocedur för att bestämma antalet mikroorganismer i ett prov. Spiralplattläggare används även inom forskning, klinisk diagnostik och som metod för att täcka en Petriskål med bakterier innan antibiotikaskivor placeras för AST. Automatisk utsådd kan utföras på olika koncentrationsnivåer.

A predetermined volume of bacterial suspension is sprayed in the shape of a spiral in a logarithmic dilution onto four areas of the Petri dish. The deposited volume corresponds to the set dilution factor. With easySpiral® Pro, it is possible to export to Excel.

It allows to do 5 x serial 1/10 dilutions and automatic plating on 1 single Petri dish, with a countable range of 30 to 10¹² CFU/ml.Controlled by microprocessor it is possible to use Petri dishes with diameter: 55, 90 and 150 mm.With sample mixing before dilution/plating and monthly cleaning program. Successive plating capacity with the same sample: 20 Petri dishes (50 μl).
