Membranfilter
Membranfilter fungerar som effektiva fysiska barriärer som avlägsnar fasta ämnen, virus, bakterier och andra oönskade molekyler. Specialiserade typer är utformade för mjukgöring, desinfektion, avlägsning av organiska ämnen och avsaltning av vatten. Filtren kan installeras i kompakta, automatiserade eller modulära enheter. Dessa silar kan också användas som separatorer mellan staplade skivor i en enda filterhållare under seriefiltrering. Membranfilter är i stort sett inerta mot kemiska och biologiska ämnen, vilket säkerställer stabilitet vid filtrering av koncentrerade syror, alkalier eller oxidationsmedel.
