The Bradford protein assay is the preferred colorimetric assay for quantifying total protein concentration. Based upon complex formation between basic and aromatic amino acid residues with Coomassie® Brilliant Blue G-250 dye, the Bradford method is easier, faster, and more sensitive than the Lowry method.
- Sensitive, fast and consistent
- Standard protocol for measuring concentrations from 10 to 100 μg
- Microassay protocol for measuring concentrations from 1 to 10 μg
Delivery: Each kit includes Bradford Reagent (1 L) and bovine albumin standard, 0,5 mg/ml (1,5 ml). Bradford Reagent and BSA standard solution are also available separately.
