Percoll®, Siam
Percoll® is a classic medium for density gradient centrifugation of cells, viruses, and subcellular particles. It consists of colloidal silica particles of 15 – 30 nm diameter (23% w/w in water), coated with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP).
