SteriVENT™ venting filters with an integral hydrophobic PTFE membrane and PP housing are well suited for sterile venting of vessels and tanks during draining and filling. These filters are capable of allowing clean air to pass into the vessel while preventing microbiological contamination.

Sterile venting filters are a necessity for many vessels types. A sterile air filter is used in the venting of filling, mixing, holding, autoclaving, fermentation, shipping, and dispensing vessels, as well as in the isolation of incubators, autoclaves, EtO sterilisers, and lyophilisers.

Can be autoclaved at 121 °C for 20 minutes (maximum 132 °C). Multiple autoclave cycles are possible. However, the responsibility for reuse is with the operator. The device should be protected from cross contamination. An integrity test should be performed after autoclaving. Compatible with EtO sterilisation.
