VacuTight™ fittings provides airtight, dependable connections under vacuum and low pressure conditions. These nuts have streamlined profiles for use in systems requiring a large number of connections in a small area, the ferrules are small size ensures sufficient nut/thread engagement, even in shallow ports. Ideal for combichem, high throughput screening, clinical diagnostic and other automated liquid handling applications.

• The 10-32 fittings are for use with ¹/₁₆" OD tubing
• The 1/4-28 and M6 fittings are available for use with both ¹/₁₆" and ¹/₈" OD tubing

The configuration of the flat-bottom ferrules prevents overcompression and tubing ID reduction that can occur with many coned fittings, results more consistent aspirating and dispensing volumes across all system connections.

Thes Nuts with hex heads can be tightened with a standard ¹/₄" wrench. All VacuTight Nuts with knurls (finger grip ridges) can be tightened finger tight. Additionally, some of the standard head and headless nuts can be tightened with extender tools.
