About this item
Mitex™ PTFE hydrophobic membranes are unaffected by almost all liquids, including organic solvents, concentrated acids and bases, propellants, and cryogenic fluids. They are unbacked, but easy to handle, combining the convenience of a backed membrane with the versatility of a pure PTFE membrane.
- Broad chemical compatibility
- Biologically and chemically inert
- Can be sterilised by ethylene oxide or autoclave
- Stable at temperatures (>260 °C and <–100 °C)
Used for clarifying acids, bases and cryogenic fluids, clarifying propellants, analysing hydraulic fluids, isolating RNA.
Bacterial endotoxins: 0,5 EU/ml
Gravimetric extractables: <0,5%
