Plastic Bottles
Being extremely versatile and economical, plastic bottles are staples for any laboratory. The impact-resistant containers provide a good moisture barrier and translucent styles permit personnel to easily view content quantity. Compatible with a wide range of substances, the bottles can safely hold acids and caustics, but are generally not recommended for solvents. While providing adequate protection at below-freezing temperatures, the plastic bottles have high temperature limitations based on the polyethylene manufacturing material.

Smooth, rounded bottle interiors are designed for easy cleaning and thorough emptying. Autoclavable, with caps detached, to 121 °C (250 °F).
