Centrifugal power device with experimental trolley
Supplier: CORNELSEN EXPERIMENTA
With the equipment, centrifugal forces that arise during a body's rotation around a specific axis can be measured and examined. The device consists of a plane with a path for a cart. On the underside there is a vertical shaft that is mounted in a bearing. The plane is made to rotate with a laboratory motor connected with a drive belt to the bearing. The experimental trolley is placed on the track and prevented from leaving the track by two bent steel wires. A wire is connected to the trolley that runs over a pulley and on to a dynamometer.

X-ray equipment
Supplier: PHYWE
Phywe's new X-ray equipment is specially developed for teaching purposes. Used in laboratory work and demonstrations from the simplest transilluminations to Bragg diffraction and Compton scattering. Tungsten is normally used as a cathode in X-ray tubes. This means that the voltage must be up to about 65 kV before X-rays are formed. Phywe's X-ray tubes only need 10 to 12 kV for the process to start. For the X-ray equipment, there are 3 different X-ray tubes with the anodes made of Cu, Mo and Fe. These are built as plug-in modules and are replaced in a few seconds. Most laboratories can be connected to Phywe's data measurement system COBRA. The X-ray cabinet is equipped with a large space for experimental setups, clearly visible through a sliding door of acrylic plastic containing lead particles. Two safety switches are connected to the door. The equipment meets the EU requirements for X-ray equipment and is CE Approved.

The hydrostatic paradox
Supplier: PHYWE
Apparatus for detecting that the pressure at the bottom of a container does not depend on its design, but only on the liquid level. For quantitative determination of the hydrostatic pressure and examination of the linear relationship between pressure and liquid level. The liquid pressure at the bottom of the various vessels deforms a highly elastic rubber membrane whose movement is transmitted to a centimeter-graded needle. The deviation can be compensated with weights. The mass and distance of the weight from the pivot point make it possible to quantitatively determine the pressure change. A second pointer can be mounted vertically to visualize fluid level.

Gyroscopic motion, spoked wheel
Supplier: 3B Scientific
Spoked wheel with weighted rim for demonstrating conservation of angular momentum. Simple to use due to small wheel radius and ease of suspension. Teachers and students can feel the conservation of angular momentum as they hold the spinning wheel while sitting in a rotating chair or standing on a rotating platform. You can also create the effect of precession by spinning the bicycle wheel and hanging it from a string.

Planck's constant, experimental equipment
Supplier: PHYWE
Equipment for demonstrating photoelectric power and determining Planck's constant. A photocell is equipped with filters that only transmit light of a certain wavelength. The photocell is illuminated with light from a Hg lamp. The potassium cathode then emits electrons that pass over to the unlit anode. Over time, a voltage arises that prevents new electrons from reaching the anode. The resulting voltage is measured with a measuring amplifier and a voltmeter. The measurement is repeated with filters for different wavelengths. Photocell and Hg lamp are equipped with magnets at the bottom for stable installation on the mounting plate. List of equipment.
