Plasmid maxiprep system, PureYield™

The PureYield™ plasmid Maxiprep system is designed to isolate transfection quality plasmid DNA. The system provides a rapid method for purification up to 1 mg of plasmid DNA from a 250 ml bacterial culture.

The system incorporates a unique endotoxin removal wash designed to remove substantial amounts of protein, RNA and endotoxin contaminants from purified plasmid DNA. Removal of contaminants improves the robustness of sensitive applications such as eukaryotic transfection, in vitro transcription and coupled in vitro transcription/translation such as TnT® Quick Coupled transcription/translation system. Purification is achieved without isopropanol precipitation of purified plasmid DNA.

Delivery information: The PureYield™ Maxiprep system includes PureYield™ Maxi binding columns, PureYield™ clearing columns, endotoxin removal wash, cell resuspension solution (CRA), cell lysis solution (CLA), neutralisation solution (NSB), column wash and nuclease-free water. The start-up kit includes Eluator™ vacuum elution device, PureYield™ plasmid Maxiprep system, welch vacuum pump and Vac-Man® laboratory vacuum manifold (20 sample capacity).
