The Runt family of transcription factors is involved in both normal cell development and carcinogenesis. Runt-related transcription factor 3 has been shown to be a tumor suppressor. Hypermethylation and mislocalization of the protein to the cytoplasm leads to low levels of RUNX3 and increased proliferation of breast and gastric tumor cells.
Western blot: 2-4 µg/ml Provided assay concentrations are sµggestions only, RUNX3 antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
