These Mbo I restriction enzyme recognises ˅GATC and CTAG^ sites and cuts best at 37 °C in its own unique buffer.
- Sensitive to dam methylation
- DpnI is an unusual isoschizomer of MboI that will cut only if the recognition site is methylated by the dam methylation system
- Sau3AI is an isoschizomer of MboI that is not sensitive to dam methylation
- Source: Moraxella bovis ATCC 10900
Storage buffer: 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7,4), 50 mM KCl, 0,1 mM EDTA, 1 mM DTT, 0,5 mg/ml BSA and 50% glycerol.
