Anti-DAD1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Defender of cell death 1 (DAD1) was initially discovered in BHK21 cells as a negative regulator of programmed cell death, a process important for normal organism development and tissue homeostasis. DAD1 was later shown to be a subunit of the mammalian oligosaccharyltransferase complex and is required for its function and structural integrity. Mice lacking DAD1 express abnormal N-linked glycoproteins and undergo increased apoptotic-associated embryonic death. Furthermore, overexpression of DAD1 mRNA is seen in some human hepatocellular carcinomas, indicating it may also play a role in carcinogenesis. It should be noted that DAD1 is not related to the inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAP) family and does not contain any baculoviral IAP repeat (BIR) domains.

Human Recombinant Flt3-Ligand (from E. coli)
Supplier: Peprotech
Flt3-Ligand is a growth factor that regulates proliferation of early hematopoietic cells. Flt3-Ligand binds to cells expressing the tyrosine kinase receptor Flt3. Flt3-Ligand, by itself does not stimulate proliferation of early hematopoietic cells, but synergizes with other CSFs and interleukins to induce growth and differentiation. Unlike SCF, Flt3-Ligand exerts no activity on mast cells. Multiple isoforms of Flt3-Ligand have been identified. The predominant biologically active form is anchored to the cell surface as the extracellular domain of a transmembrane protein (209 a.a.). The membrane-bound isoform can be proteolytically cleaved to generate a biologically active soluble isoform. Recombinant Human Flt3-Ligand is a soluble 17.6 kDa protein consisting of 155 amino acid residues.

Human Recombinant ANGPTL-3 (from CHO cells)
Supplier: Peprotech
ANGPTL-3 (Angiopoietin-like protein 3) is a member of the angiopoietin family of structurally related proteins, characterized by a coiled N-terminal domain and a C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain. It is primarily expressed in the liver, and can exert activities related to both angiogenesis and lipid metabolism. ANGPTL-3 inhibits lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and endothelial lipase (EL), which has the effect of increasing plasma levels of triglycerides and HDL-associated cholesterol. The fibrinogen-like portion of the ANGPTL-3 protein can bind alpha-5/beta-3 integrins, leading to endothelial cell adhesion and migration. Recombinant Human ANGPTL-3 is a glycoprotein that migrates by SDS-PAGE analysis at an apparent molecular weight of 62 kDa, and contains 452 amino acid residues including a C-terminal His tag. The calculated molecular weight of Recombinant Human ANGPTL-3 is 52.9 kDa.

Mouse Recombinant Cochlin LCCL domain (from HEK293 cells)
Supplier: Prosci
Cochlin is an extracellular matrix protein expressed in the cochlea and vestibule of the inner ear. Mutations in the cochlin gene are linked to the autosomal-dominant DFNA9 syndrome, a disorder characterized by hearing loss. Cochlin is also expressed in follicular dendritic cells of the spleen and the lymph nodes. The N-terminus of cochlin contains a LCCL domain also present in Factor C, a serine protease of the horseshoe crab Limulus, involved in activating the coagulation cascade in response to LPS. A recent study showed that in response to inflammation, LPS or bacterial infection, cochlin is cleaved by the proteases aggrecanases and secreted into blood circulation. The secreted cochlin (LCCL domain) seems to have a role in local cytokine production, recruitment of immune effector cells and bacterial clearance. Cochlin is secreted as two forms p8 and p18, whereas p18 being the glycosylated form of p8.

Human Recombinant TNF alpha (soluble) (from E. coli)
Supplier: Prosci
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF, cachexin or cachectin and formerly known as tumor necrosis factor-alpha) is a cytokine involved in systemic inflammation and is a member of a group of cytokines that stimulate the acute phase reaction. The receptor TNF-R1 is activated by both the membrane-bound and soluble trimeric forms of TNF-alpha, whereas the receptor TNF-R2 only responds to the membrane-bound form of TNF-alpha (MultimericTNF-alpha (Prod. No. AG-40B-0019). Since the MultimericTNF-alpha mimics the membrane-bound form (forms oligomers higher than trimer), it is the only TNF-alpha protein that can activate the TNF-R2. For TNF-R1 activation, either "normal" TNF-alpha or MultimericTNF-alpha can be used.

Human Recombinant LIF (from E. coli)
Supplier: Prosci
LIF has the capacity to induce terminal differentiation in leukemic cells. Its activities also include the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, the induction of neuronal cell differentiation and the stimulation of acute-phase protein synthesis in hepatocytes. LIF activates JAK & STAT signaling in human embryonic stem (ES) cells, but this pathway does not maintain pluripotency in these cells, which instead rely on FGF2-mediated ERK signaling. By contrast, mouse ES cells can be maintained by LIF-mediated JAK & STAT signaling. LIF binds to a high affinity heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of two proteins: LIF-R alpha that binds LIF with low affinity and the 130kDa (gp130) subunit that by itself does not bind LIF, but is required for high affinity binding of LIF.

Anti-BICD1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
BICD1 was initially identified as the human homolog to Drosophila Bicaudal-D protein that forms part of the cytoskeleton and mediates the correct sorting of mRNAs for oocyte- and axis-determining factors during oogenesis. BICD1 can bind to dynein-dynactin and co-localizes with Rab6A on the trans-Golgi network and cytoplasmic vesicles, suggesting BICD1 regulates COPI-independent Golgi-ER transport. BICD1 will also interact with Rab6B, a Rab6 isoform that is expressed primarily in brain. Live cell imaging showed bi-directional movement of Rab6B structures in SK-N-SH neurites, indicating that BICD1 is involved in the Rab6B regulation of retrograde cargo transport in neuronal cells.

Anti-ACIN1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Chromatin condensation and nuclear fragmentation (CCNF) is the hallmark of apoptosis. CCNF is triggered by the activation of members of caspase family, caspase activated DNase (CAD/DFF40), and several novel proteins including AIF and CIDE. A new inducer of chromatin condensation was recently identified and designated Acinus (for apoptotic chromatin condensation inducer in the nucleus). Acinus is cleaved by caspase-3 and an additional unknown protease generating a small active peptide p17, which causes chromatin condensation in vitro when it is added to purified nuclei. Acinus also induces apoptotic chromatin condensation in cells. Acinus is ubiquitously expressed. Three different spliced forms of Acinus have been identified in human and mouse and designated AcinusL, AcinusS and AcinusS'.

Anti-OR10A5 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Bioss
Olfactory receptors interact with odorant molecules in the nose to initiate a neuronal response that leads to the perception of smell. While they share a seven transmembrane domain structure with many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors, olfactory receptors are responsible for the recognition and transduction of odorant signals. OR10A2 (olfactory receptor 10A2) and OR10A5 (olfactory receptor 10A5) are multi-pass membrane proteins that belong to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and are encoded by genes that map to human chromosome 11p15.4. Chromosome 11 houses over 1,400 genes and comprises nearly 4% of the human genome. Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome, Niemann-Pick disease, hereditary angioedema and Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome are associated with defects in genes that map to chromosome 11.

Human Recombinant BDNF (from E. coli)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
BDNF is a member of the nerve growth factor family of trophic factors. In the brain BDNF has a trophic action on retinal, cholinergic, and dopaminergic neurons, and in the peripheral nervous system it acts on both motor and sensory neurons. Some protein domains of BDNF are identical with those of NGF and another neurotrophic factor, designated NT-3 (neurotrophin-3). It exists as monomers and homodimers, and binds to NTRK2/TRKB. Polyclonal antibodies raised against murine NGF have been shown to cross-react with both NT-3 and BDNF. The propeptide is N-glycosylated and glycosulfated. BDNF is converted into mature BDNF by plasmin (PLG). It is expressed in brain, and highly expressed in hippocampus, amygdala, cerebral cortex and cerebellum; it is also expressed in heart, lung, skeletal muscle, testis, prostate and placenta. Recombinant Human Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor produced in E.coli is a homodimer, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 2 x 119 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 26,984 Daltons.

Anti-COPS7A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Prosci
Component of the COP9 signalosome complex (CSN), a complex involved in various cellular and developmental processes. The CSN complex is an essential regulator of the ubiquitin (Ubl) conjugation pathway by mediating the deneddylation of the cullin subunits of SCF-type E3 ligase complexes, leading to decrease the Ubl ligase activity of SCF-type complexes such as SCF, CSA or DDB2. The complex is also involved in phosphorylation of p53/TP53, JUN, I-kappa-B-alpha/NFKBIA, ITPK1 and IRF8/ICSBP, possibly via its association with CK2 and PKD kinases. CSN-dependent phosphorylation of TP53 and JUN promotes and protects degradation by the Ubl system, respectively.

Anti-ACE2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) plays a central role in vascular, renal, and myocardial physiology. In contrast to its homolog ACE, ACE2 expression is restricted to heart, kidney, and testis. Recently. ACE2 has also been shown to be a functional receptor of the SARS coronavirus. The normal function of ACE2 is to convert the inactive vasoconstrictor angiotensin I (AngI) to Ang1-9 and the active form AngII to Ang1-7, unlike ACE, which converts AngI to AngII. While the role of these vasoactive peptides is not well understood, lack of ACE2 expression in ace2-/ace2- mice leads to severely reduced cardiac contractility, indicating its importance in regulating heart function.
