Human Recombinant EGF (from CHO Cells)
Supplier: Peprotech
EGF Receptor (EGFR, ErbB1) is a transmembrane protein that exerts tyrosine kinase activity upon ligand-induced activation. EGFR can be activated by binding EGF, or at least six other structurally related protein ligands, including TGFα, HB-EGF, Betacellulin (BTC), Amphiregulin, Epiregulin, and Epigen. Upon activation, EGFR initiates a signaling cascade, which includes dimerization and internalization, tyrosine phosphorylation, DNA synthesis of target genes and, ultimately, cell proliferation. EGFR signaling plays a role in the growth and differentiation of normal cells, but elevated EGFR activity is correlated with the development and pathogenesis of certain cancers. Recombinant Human EGF Receptor (EGFR) is a 621 amino acid glycoprotein comprising the extracellular domain of EGFR, and migrates at an apparent MW of 97.5 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing conditions.

Human Recombinant E-Selectin (from CHO cells)
Supplier: Peprotech
Selectins are a family of calcium-dependent type 1 transmembrane proteins. Endothelial (E)-selectin is a heavily glycosylated transmembrane protein expressed by activated endothelial cells in microvascular linings. E-selectin, along with P-selectin and L-selectin, initiate recruitment of circulating leukocytes from blood to sites of inflammation in the vascular lining through interaction with specific cell surface-associated carbohydrate determinants. E-selectin consists of an N-terminal type 1 lectin domain, an EGF-like domain, 6 sushi (CCP/SCR) domains, a transmembrane sequence, and a short cytoplasmic domain. Recombinant Human E-selectin is a 58.6 kDa protein containing 535 amino acid residues, corresponding to the extracellular portion of the full length protein. Due to glycosylation, E-selectin migrates at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 65-85 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing conditions.

Human Recombinant IL-16 (from E. coli)
Supplier: Peprotech
IL-16 is a CD8+ T cell-derived cytokine that induces chemotaxis of CD4+ T cells, CD4+ monocytes, and eosinophils. Analysis by gel filtration suggests that, under physiological conditions, hIL-16 exists predominantly as a noncovalently linked multimer, but that some IL-16 may exist as a monomer. However, only the multimeric form appears to possess chemotactic activity, suggesting that receptor cross-linking may be required for activity. IL-16 also induces expression of IL-2 receptor (IL-2R) and MHC class II molecules on CD4 + T cells. Human and murine IL-16 show significant cross-species reactivity. Recombinant Human IL-16 is a 12.4 kDa protein consisting of 121 amino acid residues.

Human Recombinant IL36RA (from E. coli)
Supplier: Prosci
IL-36Ra/IL-1F5 is a highly and a specific antagonist of the IL-1 receptor-related protein 2-mediated response to IL-36alpha (IL-1F6), IL-36beta (IL-1F8) and IL-36gamma (IL-1F9). These cytokines bind to IL-36R (IL-1Rrp2) and IL-1RAcP, activating similar intracellular signals as IL-1. IL-36Ra inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines, including IL-12, IL-1beta, IL-6, TNF-alpha and IL-23 induced by IL-36 in BMDC and CD4 T cells. Skin and dendritic cells are target of the IL-36 interleukins leading to a Th1 response. Recently mutations that affect the levels and the activity of IL-36Ra have been found in patients with pustular psoriasis, leading to enhanced production of inflammatory cytokines (IL-8 in particular) by keratinocytes.

Human Recombinant IGFL3 (from HEK293 cells)
Supplier: Prosci
Insulin-growth factor-like gene family is a new family of proteins consisting of four proteins in humans (IGFL1 to 4) and one in mice (mIGFL). mIGFL is expressed in normal skin in mice and further upregulated during inflammation responses in skin or after skin wounding. In human only IGFL1 expression is increased in psoriatic skin samples. mIGFL and human IGFL1 and 3 interact with specificity and high affinity to a novel receptor named IGF-like family receptor 1 (formerly TMEM-149). Analysis of the amino acid sequence of IGFLR1 indicated that this receptor is likely a novel member of the TNF-R family. IGFLR1 is expressed most abundantly on mouse T cells, suggesting that mIGFL and IGFL1 produced in the skin may potentially exert regulatory functions on T cell responses.

Anti-BCL2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Apoptosis plays a major role in normal organism development, tissue homeostasis, and removal of damaged cells. Disruption of this process has been implicated in a variety of diseases such as cancer. Bcl-2 is the founding member of a family of over 20 proteins that are critical regulators of apoptosis. These can be divided into two classes: those that inhibit apoptosis and those that promote cell death. Bcl-2 is an inner mitochondrial membrane protein that inhibits apoptosis. It is thought to act by interacting with pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family members such as Bak and Bad. Overexpression of Bcl-2 has been linked to human cancers such as B-cell lymphoma and prostate cancer.

Anti-CARD11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
CARMA proteins belong to the membrane-associated guanylate kinase-like (MAGUK) family of proteins that can function as molecular scaffolds that assist assembly of signal transduction molecules. CARMA1, CARMA2, and CARMA3 share high degrees of sequence and functional homology, but their tissue-specific distribution suggests that they serve distinct biological functions in different cell types. Both CARMA1 and CARMA3 associate with NEMO, the regulatory subunit of the IkK complex, thereby regulating activation of the NF-kB transcription factor. Also, gene inactivation studies showed a complete block in T and B cell immunity as well as an impaired response to LPS, indicating that CARMA1 is a critical regulator in both the adaptive and innate immune systems.

Anti-BCAP29 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Bap29 and the related protein Bap31 are endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and ER-vesicle membrane proteins and members of the B-cell receptor-associated protein family. These two proteins are highly homologous and can form homo- and heterodimers. Both Bap29 and Bap31 interact with membrane-bound immunoglobulins (mIgs), such as IgM and IgD, which with Ig-alpha/Ig-beta heterodimers form B cell antigen receptors. Binding of the Bap29/Bap31 heterodimer correlates with the ER retention of non-Ig-alpha/Ig-beta bound mIg complexes, suggesting that Bap29 and Bap31 may act as chaperones transmembrane regions of various proteins. Bap29 possesses multiple isoforms.

Anti-AFP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a major plasma protein produced by the yolk sac and the liver during fetal development. In adults, AFP expression is often associated with hepatoma or teratoma. However, hereditary persistance of AFP may also be found in individuals with no obvious pathology. AFP is thought to be the fetal counterpart of serum albumin, and the AFP and albumin genes are present in tandem in the same transcriptional orientation on chromosome 4. AFP is found in monomeric as well as dimeric and trimeric forms, and binds copper, nickel, fatty acids and bilirubin. AFP levels in amniotic fluid is used to measure renal loss of protein to screen for spina bifida and anencephaly.

Human Recombinant IL-3 (E. coli expressed)
Supplier: STEMCELL Technologies
Interleukin 3 (IL-3) is a species-specific pleiotropic cytokine that promotes the survival and proliferation of pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells and lineage-committed progenitor cells and their differentiation into mature cells of most lineages, including basophils, neutrophils, eosinophils, macrophages, dendritic cells, erythrocytes, and megakaryocytes (Yang et al.; Dorssers et al.; Broughton et al.). IL-3 is produced by activated T cells and has a physiological role in inflammation and allergies by promoting the secretion of inflammatory mediators such as histamine, IL-4, and IL-6 by basophils and eosinophils (Broughton et al.). The IL-3 receptor consists of a unique alpha subunit (CD123) and a beta common subunit (βc or CD131) that is shared with the receptors for IL-5 and GM-CSF, and is the principal signal transduction subunit for these cytokines. IL-3 binding to the heterodimeric receptor activates JAK/STAT, MAPK, and PI3K signaling pathways (Woodcock et al.).

Anti-GRIPAP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Prosci
PDZ domain-containing proteins, such as PSD-95 and GRIP are thought to play key roles in glutamate receptor plasticity. GRIP-associated proteins (GRASPs) that bind to distinct PDZ domains within GRIP also play key roles in regulation of glutamate receptor function. GRASP-1 is a neuronal rasGEF associated with GRIP and AMPA receptors in vivo (Scannevin and Huganir, 2000). Recent work suggests that GRASP-1 may regulate neuronal ras signaling and contribute to the regulation of AMPA receptor distribution by NMDA receptor activity (Ye et al., 2000).

Anti-TBX21 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Prosci
TBX21 is a member of a phylogenetically conserved family of genes that share a common DNA-binding domain, the T-box. T-box genes encode transcription factors involved in the regulation of developmental processes. It is the human ortholog of mouse Tbx21/Tbet gene. Studies in mouse show that Tbx21 protein is a Th1 cell-specific transcription factor that controls the expression of the hallmark Th1 cytokine, interferon-gamma (IFNG). Expression of the human ortholog also correlates with IFNG expression in Th1 and natural killer cells, suggesting a role for this gene in initiating Th1 lineage development from naive Th precursor cells.
