Anti-KRT19 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: CTKN19-1]

Supplier: Prosci

Cytokeratin 19 is a member of the keratin family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Cytokeratin 19 is a type I keratin. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells. It is specifically found in the periderm, the transiently superficial layer that envelops the developing epidermis. The type I cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21. [Wiki]

Human Recombinant Galectin-3 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Peprotech

Lectins, of either plant or animal origin, are carbohydrate-binding proteins that interact with glycoproteins and glycolipids on the surface of animal cells. The Galectins are lectins that recognize and interact with β-galactoside moieties. Galectin-3 regulates a number of biological processes, including embryogenesis, inflammatory responses, cell progression and metastasis. Galectin-3 is normally expressed in epithelia of a variety of tissues, including colon and endometrium, and in various inflammatory cells, including macrophages. Galectin-3 can function intracellularly, controlling the cell cycle and preventing T-cell apoptosis, and also extracellularly, by activating various cells, including monocytes/macrophages, mast cells, neutrophils, and lymphocytes. Expression of Galectin-3 is affected by neoplastic transformation, being up-regulated in certain types of lymphomas, and in thyroid and hepatic carcinomas. Conversely, it is down-regulated in other cancers such as colon, breast, ovarian, and uterine. Recombinant Human Galectin-3 is a globular 26.0 kDa protein containing 250 amino acid residues, but no disulfide bonds.

Human Recombinant VEGFA (from E. coli)

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Vascular endothelial growth factor-A was originally isolated from tumor cells and referred to as Tumor Angiogenesis Factor or Vascular Permeability Factor. Although expressed at high levels in certain tumor-derived cells it is produced by a wide variety of cell types. In addition to stimulating vascular growth and vascular permeability it may play a role in stimulating vasolidation via nitric oxide-dependent pathways. Alternative splicing of the mRNA for VEGF-A results in several isoforms of the protein being produced. Rat and bovine VEGF are one amino acid shorter than the human factor, and the bovine and human sequences show a homology of 95 percent.

In contrast to other factors mitogenic for endothelial cells such as FGF-1, FGF-2 and PDGF, VEGF is synthesized as a precursor containing a typical hydrophobic secretory signal sequence of 26 amino acids. Glycosylation is not required for efficient secretion of VEGF. Recombinant Human VEGF produced in E.coli is a double, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 38231 Daltons.

Anti-FBXW11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-FBXW11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

This gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. The F-box proteins are divided into 3 classes: Fbws containing WD-40 domains, Fbls containing leucine-rich repeats, and Fbxs containing either different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Fbws class and, in addition to an F-box, contains multiple WD40 repeats. This gene contains at least 14 exons, and its alternative splicing generates 3 transcript variants diverging at the presence/absence of two alternate exons.

Anti-B4GALT6 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-B4GALT6 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

This gene is one of seven beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase (beta4GalT) genes. They encode type II membrane-bound glycoproteins that appear to have exclusive specificity for the donor substrate UDP-galactose; all transfer galactose in a beta1,4 linkage to similar acceptor sugars: GlcNAc, Glc, and Xyl. Each beta4GalT has a distinct function in the biosynthesis of different glycoconjugates and saccharide structures. As type II membrane proteins, they have an N-terminal hydrophobic signal sequence that directs the protein to the Golgi apparatus and which then remains uncleaved to function as a transmembrane anchor. By sequence similarity, the beta4GalTs form four groups: beta4GalT1 and beta4GalT2, beta4GalT3 and beta4GalT4, beta4GalT5 and beta4GalT6, and beta4GalT7. The enzyme encoded by this gene is a lactosylceramide synthase important for glycolipid biosynthesis.

Anti-RAF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-RAF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

The Ras pathway is a critical signal transduction cascade involved in regulating cellular proliferation, differentiation, survival, and oncogenic transformation. Members of the Raf serine/threonine kinase family are key intermediates in this cascade, functioning to relay signals from activated Ras to the downstream protein kinases MEK and ERK (Marshall, 1996). Previous studies have shown that phosphorylation is required for Raf-1 activation (Dhillon and Kolch, 2002; Chong et al., 2003). Recent work has demonstrated that phosphorylation also regulates the downregulation of Raf (Dougherty et al., 2005) with two sites participating: Ser301 and Ser642.

Human Recombinant IL33 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Prosci

Interleukin-33 (IL-33; HF-NEV; IL-1F11), a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines, is expressed by many cell types following pro-inflammatory stimulation and is thought to be released on cell lysis. The 30kDa human IL33 is converted by CASP1 to a 18kDa protein. IL33 binds to and signals through ST2 (IL1R1) and its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK, IRAK4, and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of ERK1 (MAPK3)/ERK2 (MAPK1), p38 (MAPK14), and JNK. The ability of IL-33 to target numerous immune cell types, like Th2-like cells, mast cells, and B1 cells, and to induce cytokine and chemokine production underlines its potential in influencing the outcome of a wide range of diseases, such as arthritis, asthma, atopic allergy & anaphylaxis, cardiovascular disease/atherosclerosis, nervous system diseases, and sepsis.

Anti-PMAIP1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 114C307]

Supplier: Genetex

Recently a BH3 only member of the Bcl2 family has been identified in human and mouse and designated as Noxa (for damage). The expression of the Noxa gene involves direct activation of its promoter by p53. Increased expression of Noxa protein occurs in normal thymocytes but not in p53 deficient thymocytes. Noxa cDNA codes for a 103 amino acid protein. The co-immunoprecipitation data suggest that Noxa protein may interact with proteins belonging to the Bcl2 family, such as, BclXL and Mcl1. It has also been shown that blocking the endogenous Noxa induction results in the suppression of apoptosis. Treatment of cells with Noxa antisense oligonucleotides blocks radiation induced apoptosis suggesting that Noxa may represent a mediator of p53 dependent apoptosis.

Human Recombinant Wnt-1 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Peprotech

Wnt-1 is a secreted protein that signals through the Frizzled family of cell surface receptors, and is required for normal embryonic development. Wnt-1 activation induces a complex signaling cascade that ultimately leads to the increased expression of over fifty genes. An important component of Wnt-1 signaling is the stabilization, and resulting accumulation, of the intracellular signaling protein, β-catenin. Wnt signaling induces and maintains the transformed phenotype, and, in certain embryonic cell lines, supports self-renewal in the absence of significant differentiation. Elevated levels of Wnt proteins are associated with tumorigenesis, and are present in numerous human breast cancers. Mature human Wnt-1 is a glycosylated protein containing 343 amino acid residues. Recombinant Human Wnt-1 is a 38.4 kDa, non-glycosylated protein containing 343 amino acid residues.
