Anti-MAP2K2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-MAP2K2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

MEK2 antibodies detect the MEK2 isoform. Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 2, also known as MEK2 or MKK2, is an integral component of the MAP kinase cascade that regulates cell growth and differentiation. This pathway also plays a key role in synaptic plasticity in the brain. Activated MEK 2 acts as a dual specificity kinase phosphorylating both a threonine and a tyrosine residue on MAP kinase. MEK1 and MEK2 are about 80% identical to each other, and nearly identical within the kinase domain. The MEK2 antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Neuroscience, Cell Signaling and Cancer Research.

Anti-SLC35D3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

The solute carrier family SLC35 consists of at least 17 proteins that act as nucleotide sugar transporters localized to the Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum. The novel protein SLC35D3 is highly homologous to SLC35D1 and SLC35D2, both of which transport UDP-glucuronic acid and UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine, suggesting that SLC35D3 is also involved in the transport of nucleotide sugars. It has been suggested that SLC35D3 regulates platelet dense granules, lysosome-related organelles which contain high concentrations of several biologically important low molecular weight molecules necessary for normal blood homeostasis.

Anti-KCNK18 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-KCNK18 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

TRESK (TWIK-related spinal cord K+ channel) is a two-pore domain K+ channel that induces outward rectification and functions as a background K+ channel that is abundantly expressed in the spinal cord, thymus, spleen, and leukemic T-lymphocytes. TRESK is activated by increased cytoplasmic calcium concentration through calcineurin as well as by acetylcholine and histamine. It has been suggested that TRESK is linked to acute and chronic pain by activation of calcineurin. Other studies indicate that TRESK may play a role in the regulation of T-cell function and could be an excellent target to treat T-cell originated immune dysfunction.

Anti-POFUT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-POFUT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

POFUT1, an endoplasmic reticulum-residing member of the glycosyltransferase O-Fuc family, adds O-fucose through an O-glycosidic linkage to conserved serine or threonines in epidermal growth factor-like repeats of several cell surface and secreted proteins. Unlike its homolog POFUT2, POFUT1 can also catalyze the transfer of fucose to thrombospondin type 1 repeats. Many of the substrates of POFUT1 are involved in ligand-induced receptor signaling. One such protein is Notch; mouse ES cells lacking POFUT have normal levels of Notch receptors at the cell surface, but these receptors do not bind Notch ligands or exhibit Notch signaling.

Anti-DPF2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Requiem is a member of the d4 domain family, characterized by a zinc finger-like structural motif. This protein functions as a transcription factor which is necessary for the apoptotic response following deprivation of survival factors. It is expressed in numerous tissues in both cytosolic and nuclear regions and likely serves a regulatory role in rapid hematopoietic cell growth and turnover. Requiem has been found to act as an adaptor protein that links the NF-kB and SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling factor and is considered a candidate gene for multiple endocrine neoplasia type I, an inherited cancer syndrome involving multiple parathyroid, enteropancreatic, and pituitary tumors.

Anti-TXNIP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-TXNIP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Thioredoxin-interacting protein (TXNIP) belongs to the arrestin family and plays a critical role in the antioxidant defense mechanisms of hematopoietic cells by activating the p53 pathway during oxidative stress (1,2). It functions as a transcriptional repressor and acts as an oxidative stress mediator by inhibiting thioredoxin activity (2). TXNIP expression is reduced in many types of tumors, and TXNIP overexpression inhibits tumor growth by blocking cell-cycle progression (3). It has recently reported that TXNIP deficiency correlates with a high incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (4). TXNIP and p53 interactions could potentially be a therapeutic target for oxidative stress-related diseases such as hematopoietic malignancies and metabolic diseases (5).

Anti-C12ORF44 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-C12ORF44 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

ATG101 Antibody: Autophagy, the process of bulk degradation of cellular proteins through an autophagosomic-lysosomal pathway is important for normal growth control and may be defective in tumor cells. It is involved in the preservation of cellular nutrients under starvation conditions as well as the normal turnover of cytosolic components. This process is negatively regulated by TOR (Target of rapamycin) through phosphorylation of autophagy protein ATG1. ATG101 is a recently discovered protein that stabilizes ATG13, another autophagy protein that forms a complex with the mammalian homologs of ATG1, ULK1 and ULK2, and with FIP200. This complex is a target of TOR phosphorylation under normal conditions; inhibition of TOR by rapamycin or leucine deprivation leads to dephosphorylation of ATG13, ULK1 and ULK2, which then leads to autophagy. ATG101 also interacts with ULK1 and is essential for autophagy.

Anti-ZBTB44 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate))

Supplier: Bioss

Zinc-finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass some form of transcriptional activation or repression. The majority of zinc-finger proteins contain a Krüppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which is thought to interact with KAP1, thereby recruiting histone modifying protein. ZBTB44 is a 570 amino acid member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Localized to the nucleus, ZBTB44 contains a BTB domain, also known as a POZ domain, which inhibits DNA binding and mediates homotypic and heterotypic dimerization. Characteristics of the BTB domain suggest that ZBTB44 functions as a transcription regulator. Four isoforms of ZBTB44 have been identified.
