Anti-C12ORF42 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 680)

Supplier: Bioss

Encoding over 1100 genes within 132 million bases, chromosome 12 makes up about 4.5% of the human genome. A number of skeletal deformities are linked to chromosome 12 including hypochondrogenesis, achondrogenesis and Kniest dysplasia. Noonan syndrome, which includes heart and facial developmental defects among the primary symptoms, is caused by a mutant form of PTPN11 gene product, SH-PTP2. Chromosome 12 is also home to a homeobox gene cluster which encodes crucial transcription factors for morphogenesis, and the natural killer complex gene cluster encoding C-type lectin proteins which mediate the NK cell response to MHC I interaction. Trisomy 12p leads to facial development defects, seizure disorders and a host of other symptoms varying in severity depending on the extent of mosaicism and is most severe in cases of complete trisomy. The C12orf42 gene product has been provisionally designated C12orf42 pending further characterization.

Supplier: Bioss

C19orf18 is a 215 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 19. Chromosome 19 consists of approximately 63 million bases and makes up over 2% of human genomic DNA. Chromosome 19 includes a diversity of interesting genes and is recognized for having the greatest gene density of the human chromosomes. It is the genetic home for a number of immunoglobulin superfamily members including the killer cell and leukocyte Ig-like receptors, a number of ICAMs, the CEACAM and PSG family, and Fc receptors. Key genes for eye color and hair color also map to chromosome 19. Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, spinocerebellar ataxia type 6, the stroke disorder CADASIL, hypercholesterolemia and insulin-dependent diabetes have been linked to chromosome 19. Translocations with chromosome 19 and chromosome 14 can be seen in some lymphoproliferative disorders and typically involve the proto-oncogene BCL3.

Anti-TNFSF13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-TNFSF13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

APRIL Antibody: Members in the TNF superfamily regulate immune responses and induce apoptosis. A novel member in the TNF family was recently identified by several groups and designated APRIL (for a proliferation-inducing ligand), TALL-2 (for TNF- and ApoL-related Leukocyte-expressed Ligand 2), and TRDL-1alpha (for TNF related death ligand 1alpha ) in human and mouse. Two receptors for APRIL were recently identified and designated TACI and BCMA. APRIL stimulates B and T cell proliferation, triggers humoral immune responses, activates NF-kappa B, and induces cell death. APRIL and its close relative of BlyS and their receptors BCMA and TACI are involved in diseases of autoimmunity and cancer.

Anti-RACGAP1 Goat Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-RACGAP1 Goat Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Genetex

Rho GTPases control a variety of cellular processes. There are 3 subtypes of Rho GTPases in the Ras superfamily of small G proteins: RHO (see MIM 165370), RAC (see RAC1; MIM 602048), and CDC42 (MIM 116952). GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) bind activated forms of Rho GTPases and stimulate GTP hydrolysis. Through this catalytic function, Rho GAPs negatively regulate Rho-mediated signals. GAPs may also serve as effector molecules and play a role in signaling downstream of Rho and other Ras-like GTPases.[supplied by OMIM]

Anti-CHST13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-CHST13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

CHST13 catalyzes the transfer of sulfate to position 4 of the N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) residue of chondroitin. Chondroitin sulfate constitutes the predominant proteoglycan present in cartilage and is distributed on the surfaces of many cells and extracellular matrices. It transfers sulfate to the C4 hydroxyl of beta1,4-linked GalNAc that is substituted with a beta-linked glucuronic acid at the C-3 hydroxyl. C4ST3 transfers sulfate to the C-4 hydroxyl of beta-1,4-linked GalNAc flanked by GlcUA residues in chondroitin (Kang et al., 2002 [PubMed 12080076]).

Anti-TRIP13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

Thyroid hormone receptors (TRs) are transcription factors that regulate the expression of specific genes in a hormone-dependent manner. TRIP13 is a transcription factor that interacts with the ligand binding domain of the thyroid receptor (TR) as well as a variety of target genes including human papilloma virus type 16 (HPV16) E1. Unlike most TRIP proteins which function only in the presence of hormones, TRIP13 does not require the presence of thyroid hormone to interact with TR. The association of TRIP13 with (HPV16) E1 suggests that TRIP13 may have tumor suppressor gene function. TRIP13 is a 432 amino acid protein with 2 different isoforms produced by alternative splicing.

Anti-UBOX5 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)

Supplier: Bioss

The U-box domain is a modified RING finger motif that has been implicated in the ubiquitin/proteasome system. The ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme 7-interacting protein 5 (UIP5), also designated U-box domain-containing protein 5 or RING finger protein 37, contains 1 RING-type zinc finger and 1 U-box domain. UIP5 has been shown to interact with UBCH7, an enzyme that mediates selective degradation of abnormal proteins. The gene encoding UIP5 maps to chromosome 20, which houses over 600 genes, some of which are associated with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, ring chromosome 20 epilepsy syndrome and Alagille syndrome. Additionally, chromosome 20 contains a region with numerous genes which are thought important for seminal production and may be potential targets for male contraception.

Anti-HSJ1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 680)

Supplier: Bioss

The DnaJ family is one of the largest of all the chaperone families and has evolved with diverse cellular localization and functions. The presence of the J domain defines a protein as a member of the DnaJ family. DnaJ heat shock induced proteins are from the bacterium Escherichia coli and are under the control of the htpR regulatory protein. The DnaJ proteins play a critical role in the HSP 70 chaperone machine by interacting with HSP 70 to stimulate ATP hydrolysis. The proteins contain cysteine rich regions that are composed of zinc fingers that form a peptide binding domain responsible for the chaperone function. DnaJ proteins are important mediators of proteolysis and are involved in the regulation of protein degradation, exocytosis and endocytosis. DnaJB2 (DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 2), also known as HSJ1 or HSPF3, is expressed almost exclusively in the brain, with the highest levels in the frontal cortex and hippocampus. Two isoforms are produced due to alternative splicing.

Anti-PDI Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate))

Supplier: Bioss

This multifunctional protein catalyzes the formation, breakage and rearrangement of disulfide bonds. At the cell surface, seems to act as a reductase that cleaves disulfide bonds of proteins attached to the cell. May therefore cause structural modifications of exofacial proteins. Inside the cell, seems to form/rearrange disulfide bonds of nascent proteins. At high concentrations, functions as a chaperone that inhibits aggregation of misfolded proteins. At low concentrations, facilitates aggregation (anti-chaperone activity). May be involved with other chaperones in the structural modification of the TG precursor in hormone biogenesis. Also acts a structural subunit of various enzymes such as prolyl 4-hydroxylase and microsomal triacylglycerol transfer protein MTTP. Receptor for LGALS9; the interaction retains P4HB at the cell surface of Th2 T helper cells, increasing disulfide reductase activity at the plasma membrane, altering the plasma membrane redox state and enhancing cell migration (PubMed:21670307).

Human Recombinant CTNNA1 (from Baculovirus (Sf9 Insect Cells))

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Catenin α is a novel actin-binding and -bundling protein. Catenin α is responsible for organizing and tethering actin filaments at the zones of E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell contact (1). Monomeric Catenin α can bind strongly to E-Cadherin-β-Catenin, whereas the dimer preferentially binds actin filaments. Different molecular conformations are associated with these different binding states, indicating that Catenin α is an allosteric protein. Catenin α directly regulates actin-filament organization by suppressing Arp2/3-mediated actin polymerization, likely by competing with the Arp2/3 complex for binding to actin filaments (2). Catenin α Protein is ideal for investigators involved in Signaling Proteins, Transcription Proteins, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Invasion/Metastasis, Neurobiology, PKA/PKC Pathway, and WNT Signaling research.

Anti-OR13C9 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-OR13C9 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Olfactory receptors interact with odorant molecules in the nose, to initiate a neuronal response that triggers the perception of a smell. The olfactory receptor proteins are members of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) arising from single coding-exon genes. Olfactory receptors share a 7-transmembrane domain structure with many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors and are responsible for the recognition and G protein-mediated transduction of odorant signals. The olfactory receptor gene family is the largest in the genome. The nomenclature assigned to the olfactory receptor genes and proteins for this organism is independent of other organisms.

Anti-TNFSF4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

The tumor necrosis factor superfamily member TNFSF4 is a type II membrane bound, non-covalently linked homotrimeric protein. It is expressed on antigen presenting cells, such as dendritic cells and activated B-cells, and also on other cells such as vascular endothelial cells, mast cells, and natural killer cells. TNFSF4 signals specifically through the TNFRSF4 receptor, is expressed predominantly on CD4+T cells but also on certain activated CD8+T cells. TNFRSF4/TNFSF4 functions as a costimulatory signal, which is required for a productive interaction between antigen presenting cells and their target T-cells. It enhances cell proliferation and survival, and increases expression of RANTES, IL-2, IL-3, and IFN-gamma. TNFRSF4/TNFSF4 signaling plays an important role in immunotolerance.
