The NIPSNAP proteins comprise a family of evolutionarily well-conserved proteins with strong sequence similarity to the central portion of a protein encoded by C. elegans chromosome III between a 4-nitrophenylphosphatase (NIP) domain and non-neuronal SNAP25-like protein. NIPSNAP2, a novel gene encoding a protein with tyrosine phosphorylation sites and a transmembrane domain, is co-amplified with EGFR in approximately 40% of glioblastomas, the most common and malignant form of central nervous system tumors. It is widely expressed and most abundant in heart and skeletal muscle. NIPSNAP proteins have been suggested to be important in vesicular transport. NIPSNAP2 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with any other members of the NIPSNAP protein family.

Anti-DDIT4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
REDD1, Regulated in Development and DNA damage responses 1, is induced by hypoxia, cell stress, and apoptosis. Reduced REDD1 levels can sensitize cells towards apoptosis, where elevated levels of REDD1 induced by hypoxia can desensitize cells to apoptotic stimuli. REDD1 has a crucial role in inhibiting mammalian rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) signaling during hypoxic stress. It has been shown that the rapid degradation of REDD1 is mediated by the CUL4A–DDB1–ROC1–b-TRCP E3 ligase complex and is regulated by REDD1 phosphorylation at Thr 25, Thr 23 and Ser 19 through the activity of GSK3b. REDD1 pT23/25 Antibody is ideal for researchers interested in cancer research.

Anti-HAAO Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Prosci
HAAO Antibody: HAAO (3-Hydroxyanthranilate 3, 4-dioxygenase) is a monomeric cytosolic protein of the family of intramolecular dioxygenases containing non-heme ferrous iron. It is widely distributed in peripheral organs, such as liver and kidney, and is present in low amounts in the central nervous system. This enzyme participates in tryptophan metabolism. It employs one cofactor, iron. HAAO catalyzes the synthesis of quinolinic acid (QUIN) from 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid. QUIN is an excitotoxin whose toxicity is mediated by its ability to activate glutamate N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors. Increased cerebral levels of QUIN may participate in the pathogenesis of neurological and inflammatory disorders. HAAO has been suggested to play a role in disorders associated with altered tissue levels of QUIN. Furthermore, recent study shows that HAAO are excellent candidate biomarkers for detecting ovarian cancer.

Anti-VAT1L Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Bioss
Chromosome 16 encodes over 900 genes in approximately 90 million base pairs, makes up nearly 3% of human cellular DNA and is associated with a variety of genetic disorders. The GAN gene is located on chromosome 16 and, with mutation, may lead to giant axonal neuropathy, a nervous system disorder characterized by increasing malfunction with growth. The rare disorder Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome is also associated with chromosome 16, though through the CREBBP gene which encodes a critical CREB binding protein. Signs of Rubinstein-Taybi include mental retardation and predisposition to tumor growth and white blood cell neoplasias. Crohn's disease is a gastrointestinal inflammatory condition associated with chromosome 16 through the NOD2 gene. An association with systemic lupus erythematosis and a number of other autoimmune disorders with the pericentromeric region of chromosome 16 has led to the identification of SLC5A11 as a potential autoimmune modifier. The KIAA1576 gene product has been provisionally designated KIAA1576 pending further characterization.

Anti-SLC39A3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
The zinc transporter ZIP3, also known as SLC39A3, is a member of a family of divalent ion transporters. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. Similar to knock-outs of ZIP1 and ZIP2, ZIP3-null mice have no phenotypic differences compared to wild-type mice. Only when ZIP1, ZIP2, and ZIP3 genes are all eliminated and these mutant mice are fed a zinc-deficient diet do abnormalities such as reduced embryonic-membrane bound alkaline phosphatase activity and abnormal development occur, indicating that the ZIP1-3 proteins play an important, noncompensatory role when zinc is deficient. More recent studies have shown that ZIP2 and ZIP3 are down regulated in human prostate adenocarcinomatous glands, and may be important in the retention of zinc in the cellular compartment.

Anti-UNG Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
The human uracil-DNA glycosylase (UNG) gene encodes both mitochondrial (UNG1) and nuclear (UNG2) forms through differentially regulated promotes and alternative splicing. While UNG2 is the major enzyme in the base excision repair pathway that removes uracil residues from nuclear DNA that arise through either misincorporation during replication or cytosine deamination, inhibition of UNG1 by uracil glycosylase inhibitor did not lead to increased levels of spontaneous or induced mitochondrial DNA mutations. However, decreased levels of UNG activity and increased oxidative damage to mitochondrial DNA were seen in older mice, suggesting that mitochondrial DNA repair mechanisms may be involved in various neurodegenerative disorders in an age-dependent manner. This UNG1 antibody will not cross-react with UNG2.

Anti-GOLPH3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
GOLPH3 was initially identified as a peripheral membrane protein localized to the trans-Golgi network, but others reported it to be primarily a mitochondrial protein that regulated the mitochondrial mass through the regulation of the mitochondria-specific phospholipid cardiolipin. GOLPH3 has since been implicated in the target of rapamycin (TOR) signalling pathway. Its overexpression in transfected cells led to and increase in anchorage-independent growth and cell proliferation in vitro. Furthermore, GOLPH3-transfected cells enhanced S6 Kinase activity in response to growth factor stimulation by EGF. Simultaneously, AKT phosphorylation increased in these cells, while these events were abrogated in GOLPH3 siRNA treated cells compared to control cells, indicating the GOLPH3 can enhance signalling through TOR-associated complexes. These results suggest that GOLPH3 is a bona fide oncogene and may be a useful target for therapeutic strategies.
