Tyloxapol is a liquid polymer that is nonionic and of the alkyl aryl polyether type. Tyloxapol is used as a surfactant, detergent, dispersing agent, encapsulating agent and hydroxy radical scavenger. It is a non-ionic liquid polymer that is soluble in polar and non-polar solvents.
