An automated roll heat sealer capable of sealing individual wells or tubes, enabling researchers to leverage the benefits of the Azenta Individual Access range whilst maintaining the gold standard heat sealing provided by the automated roll heat sealer. Individual sealing allows for selection and removal of tubes from the plate, and is a flexible solution with the ability to seal custom shapes with custom seals.

The sealer’s rapid heating element enables a fast start-up, and the power saving mode saves energy when the unit is not in use. As the unit does not require the use of compressed air, this enables greater flexibility in lab use, whether standalone or integrated. Plates and racks are presented in portrait format and the position on the shuttle allows good access for robotic integration.
