Standard lids are available with or without a hinged divider, which collapses to allow nesting of lids. Lids feature a built-in U-shaped feed hopper, solid sheet sides, swing-clip lock, and bottle protection washer, designed to prevent chewing of non-metal tops.

The removeable divider separates the built-in food hopper and the bottle holder. Most of the wire lids or raised wire lids, without hinged divider, can be equipped with removable dividers.

Metal bottle caps made of polished AISI 316 stainless steel are chew-proof and have a one-piece sipper tube design. The cone shaped cap design, with the slope of the bottle, maximizes water availability for animals.

Filter tops create a protective barrier at cage level with major advantages for the protection of both animals and staff. They can optionally be supplied with nylon lock latches to prevent accidental dislodgement from the cage body. Filter top cages can be autoclaved as complete units.

The raised bottom grid is made of AISI 304 stainless steel wire mesh, and can be dropped into solid-bottom cages to separate animals from their waste. Grids feature 30mm elevation for mice and for rats/guinea pigs, and are easy to insert and remove.

Stainless steel racks are dedicated to husbandry and hygiene considerations, occupational health and safety requirements, ergonomics, reduced noise levels, and aesthetic appeal. Tubular base corners are all rounded for improved safety and to avoid damage of wall covering. Also available with four retrofitting plastic bumpers.

Cage bases are offered in different materials. Order a cage base, lid, filter, top, bottle, bottle cap, divider, and raised bottom grid; all needed to build a full cage. To have enough material for cage change out processes, order 20-30% more than needed.
