The C-1404 Flat Ammonia Comparator (HBA) is a component of the K-1420 Ammonia CHEMets® Test Kit (HBA) and is designed to be compared against the color formed in R-1402 Ammonia/Monochloramine CHEMets® Refill (HBA) ampoules. The kit's range is applicable for many environmental, stormwater, wastewater and aquaculture applications. The C-1404 comparator contains a set of color standards (sealed ampoules) containing dye mixtures that are formulated to match the colors produced by the test ampoules. Color standards are yellow to green in color and cover a range of 0 to 4 ppm ammonia-nitrogen (NH₃-N) and 0 to 80 ppm NH₃-N. Range: 0 to 4.0, 0 to 80, 0 to 2000, 0 to 10,000 ppm.
