The smog bubbler is available with either a Porosity C (25–50 micron) fritted tip, or a plain orifice tube with a 1mm capillary tapered end

The bottle features a [ST] 24/40 reinforced outer joint at top and a 10cm tube below the bulge. The tube has a spherical 12/5 outer joint on the inlet arm and a spherical 12/5 inner joint on the outlet arm. The approximate capacity of this apparatus, with tube inserted into the bottle, is 200mL. Fabricated from borosilicate glass.
