This sensor helps compare resting bodies to active ones.

  • Sensor monitors and compares pulse rates
  • Two modes of operation
  • For experiments from one second to 31 days long
  • Plethysmograph-based electrodes
  • Maximum sample rate of 100 S/s (BPM), 10000 S/s (analog values)

It also shows how blood volume and flow rates in the finger or earlobe change over time. The sensor can measure the BPM (Bits per Minute) of the heart rate or display the analog arbitrary value of the measured signal. The electrodes are plethysmograph based to record changes in blood volume and flow.

: The following items are needed but not included: a battery module, viewer module (not needed if connecting to a computer to display data), USB module (not needed if using as a stand-alone probe or you have the Wi-Fi module), and Wi-Fi module (not needed if connecting to a computer through the USB module). A battery module and a USB module are recommended.
