Designed for customers that complete multiple types of different tests at one time, and need more than one medium type at one sitting
To simplify the handling, testing, and containment of different plate types used for simultaneous testing, 2- and 3-packs are also available. One of each type of individually packaged OxyPRAS Plus® plate of media is banded together as a single unit. The unique packaging design allows for the simple removal of the band, so the plates can be used independently from one another, providing the customer freedom of use. Banded plates enable better quality control, with each plate part of its own unique lot number. They also allow for immediate use of all plates, or separate and individual use of each plate at different times or intervals to best accommodate the customer's testing requirements.
The Oxyrase® Enzyme System used in OxyPRAS Plus® plates provides a reduced medium before sterilization and maintains the medium in a reduced state for storage and during use. The Oxyrase® Enzyme System prevents the formation of undesirable oxidation products in these PRAS plates. Growth of anaerobes on OxyPRAS Plus® plates require anaerobic incubation in jars, bags, or chambers. The Oxyrase® Enzyme System allows the plates to be stored, opened, and used at room and cold temperatures while maintaining anaerobic conditions for anaerobic growth (refer to Oxyrase Inc. guarantee).
These sterile plates, aseptically packed as individually packaged plates, are bound together and sold as one unit; ready for immediate use with jars, bags, or chambers.
