Solid plug stoppers are designed for sealing column ends

Plug stoppers feature a "front seal," meaning the O-Ring on the Ace-Thred connection is located at the bottom of the threads rather than the top. This provides a better, more consistent seal. This is critical for pressure applications, and it also prevents viscous materials from migrating up into the threads.

They permit preparation and storage of columns. Each stopper is supplied with one FETFE O-Ring, with the exception of item 89084-370, which is supplied with a CAPFE O-Ring. Plug stoppers are available in Nylon or PTFE, with the exception of item 89052-842, which is fabricated from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE).
