This system consists of a hematology analyzer, centrifuge, and external printer. The QBC Autoread Plus Dry Hematology System is a reliable and rugged complete blood count analyzer used by thousands of practitioners around the globe. A cost-effective and virtually maintenance free system, the Autoread Plus provides point-of-care CBCs in just 7 minutes.
The centrifuge uses QBC® AccuTubes, which hold a 70µL sample size of capillary or venous blood. They feature pre-inserted ventilated stoppers and external floats.
The hematology analyzer measures nine important CBC parameters from venous or capillary blood samples. It uses dry hematology technology instead of liquid reagents to save storage space, cut costs, and reduce waste. The system is easy to transport, but its hard plastic frame is durable in the harshest conditions. Samples are centrifuged in five minutes and results automatically print when ready. The system is permanently calibrated during manufacturing
AccuTubes contain acridine orange dye required to stain blood samples for analysis in the Autoread Plus. AccuTubes can be used for capillary or venous blood samples using the pipetter. They are packaged with a ventilated stopper at the end of the tube, and soft grip float holder for easy insertion of the plastic float.
