For more convenient gel casting, VWR® also offers Agarose I™ in 500 mg tablet form. Just add the required number of tablets to either TBE or TAE, mix until completely dissolved, heat and pour a gel. Tablets eliminate the weighing of agarose for the preparation of 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5% and 2.0% gels.
