These homogenizers are designed for grinding small samples for pathological and biochemical work. The catch basin bulb has a 55 mm outer diameter.
Can be used manually but is adaptable for use with a slow speed stirrer by means of a rubber stopper and a connecting rod.

: If used with a motor-driven device, the attachment must contain some form of friction release clutch to prevent damage to the apparatus. The user should wear a protective glove of sufficient thickness to prevent injury in the event of failure of the glass components.
