Soldering masks protect PC boards, plated thru-holes, contacts, pins, posts, terminals, and gold fingers during wave soldering
Chemask® peelable solder masks are fast curing, safe for most plastics, and dry tack-free in 30 minutes. They are compatible with flux systems and stable with cleaning solvents.
The Chemask® W water-soluble, temporary solder masking agents are easily removed in water cleaning cycles. They are noncorrosive; safe for sensitive gold, silver, and copper contacts; and include UV indicator for positive quality control.
The low-foaming, water-filterable, temporary solder masking agents are ideal for aqueous cleaning systems. Best for manual applications and closed-loop cleaning systems. Masks have no clay or silica thickeners to interfere with resin bed deionization. They are non-ionic, methanol-free, and easy-to-remove.
The high-viscosity, peelable solder masking agents are ideal for more controlled applications. Thicker coating does not seep through thru-holes. Masks can be introduced to the wave solder preheat within four minutes without adverse effects and dry tack-free in 15 minutes. Compatible with flux systems and stable with cleaning solvents.
Formulated to provide short-term high-temperature protection from molten solder, these nonflammable, non-contaminating masks will not leave ionic or corrosive residue. Masks are stable to 268 °C (515 °F). CFC/HCFC-free. Upper ozone- and plastic-safe.
