Quick-acting, lever operated. The lever, connected to a self-lubricating plastic cam-piston, actuates the valve stem and valve plate through PTFE bearings. This mechanism is isolated from the vacuum system by a laser-welded, stainless steel bellows with minimum life expectancy of 1,000,000 operations. Valve is suitable for vacuum range of atmosphere to 10-9 torr. NW10 flange size.
