The new non-rotating spindle digital micrometer head allows you to create your own micro-positioning instrument. With micron-level accuracy, it gives higher precision than a normal micromanipulator.

Since the spindle does not rotate as it advances, instruments can be directly attached without the need for a complicated decoupling device. The digital display eliminates the need to squint at the notational scale. Readings can be clearly seen in either inches or millimeters. Can read both absolute position and the increment relative to a previously chosen point.
