About this item
Immunomagnetic positive selection kit using particle release technology.
- Up to 95% purity of plasma cells from immunized mouse samples
- No-wash removal of EasySep™ Releasable RapidSpheres™
- Compatible with hybridoma generation protocols, including electrofusion
Isolate magnetic particle-free CD138+ plasma cells and plasmablasts from single-cell suspensions of mouse splenocytes or bone marrow in as little as 37 minutes. CD138+ cells are differentiated B cells that can be used in antibody discovery research due to their ability to generate affinity-matured antibodies. While hybridoma fusions with mouse bone marrow and splenocytes typically require screening thousands of colonies, enriching for CD138+ plasma cells prior to hybridoma fusion can substantially decrease the screening burden to generate hybridomas.
To achieve higher lab efficiency for your antibody discovery research, purify CD138+ plasma cells and plasmablasts without columns by using immunomagnetic positive selection. Simply label cells with antibodies and magnetic particles, place in an EasySep™ cell separation magnet, then remove the bound magnetic particles from the isolated CD138+ cell fraction. CD138+ cells isolated from immunized mice are up to 95% pure and can be used with hybridoma generation protocols such as electrofusion.
