About this item

This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detecting Mouse IL11Ra (Interleukin 11 Receptor Alpha). The assay range is from 31.2 to 2000 pg/ml (Sandwich kit) with a sensitivity of 12.4 pg/ml. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. Activity loss rate and accelerated stability test ect have been conducted to guarantee the best performance of the products after long storage and delivery.

  • High sensitivity and specificity
  • Perfect reproducibility and consistency across batches
  • Quality control with three-level inspections
  • Wide range of targets/species available
  • Intra-assay: CV<10%; Inter-assay: CV<12%

IL-11 receptor is a member of the hematopoietic cytokine receptor family. This particular receptor is very similar to ciliary neurotrophic factor, since both contain an extracellular region with a 2-domain structure composed of an immunoglobulin-like domain and a cytokine receptor-like domain. Alternative splicing has been observed at this locus and two variants, each encoding a distinct isoform, have been identified. This receptor was found to be a 422-amino acid protein containing a signal peptide followed by extracellular, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic domains. The extracellular region has a 2-domain structure homologous to those of the receptors for IL6R and ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTFR), an immunoglobulin-like domain and a cytokine receptor-like domain.
