LabExact® Grade Quartz A High Temperature is a fine porosity binderless quartz (SiO₂) glass microfiber with a 99.999% efficiency in air filtration for the retention of 2.20 µm particles. This media meets or exceeds the physical, performance and elemental requirements for EPA PM10, Ambient Air Monitoring methods.
- Flow rate: 1.1 to 1.35 m³/min (Resistance 95 mm H₂O at 10.5 ft/min)
- Loss on ignition: <2%
- Tensile strength: 285 g/15 mm (ASTM D828), MD tensile is 11.3 lbs./in. (TAPPI T494)
- Effective temperature range up to 1150 °C
- Ideal for use in acidic gases (except Hydrofluoric) and aerosols, stacks and flue gas monitoring
Primarily used in air pollution monitoring, atomic absorption spectroscopy, flame emission spectrometry, and other applications where an extremely critical analysis is needed.
