Plates are optically clear polystyrene with a high-antibody binding 96-well microplate with individual 8-well strips in the plate frame for immunoassay applications.

The hydrophobic/ionic binding interaction consistently provides approximately 3% coefficient of variation on well-to-well performance. The flat-bottom 8-well strips fit snugly in the plate frame to eliminate strip loss while in use, even if the plate is turned upside down. The plate frame also features a corner notch. Strips can be gently removed from the frame with a strip well ejector and strip guides help to avoid misorientation when the strip is returned to the holder. Individual wells can also be easily separated from the strips, allowing individual samples or less than eight multiple samples to be processed without wasting a whole 8-well strip. Coated plates are all pre-blocked with either SuperBlock™ blocking buffer or Blocker™ BSA to reduce non-specific binding and save assay development time.
