They are produced with uniform wall thickness to consistently withstand centrifugal forces. Attached caps are flat with consistent thickness for trouble-free piercing and form a tight, leak-free seal that is easy to open, even when wearing gloves. Tubes fit most common rotors and may be spun up to 30000 RCF (10000 RCF for 0.5 ml tubes, 20000 RCF for 1.5 ml tubes; 30000 RCF for 1.5 ml with lid closure). BIO-CERT® RNase-, DNase-, and DNA-free tubes are available for critical applications. The 1.5 ml tubes with caps feature graduations. Tubes are colored to simplify sample identification.
